After graduating from the University of Applied Sciences in Esslingen, near Stuttgart, I developed a tiny piece of the Internet infrastructure hardware at Hirschmann; before becoming a hardware design engineer for Home & Buildings Products at Honeywell in 1995. Then followed Project Management including PMP certification. After developing products, I began to optimize them using my knowledge as a Six Sigma blackbelt; starting in one factory in Germany, followed by many throughout EMEA, and then globally.
